Wikipedia, Aug. 5, 2013 (Amado Nervo; born August 27, 1870 in Tepic, Nayarit; died May 24, 1919 in Montevideo, Uruguay; birth name: Juan Crisóstomo Ruiz de Nervo; journalist, poet, and educator who also served as the Mexican Ambassador to Argentina and Uruguay. Considered one of Mexico's most important poets of the 19th century, his poetry was known for its use of metaphor and reference to mysticism, presenting both love and religion, as well as Christianity and Hinduism. In 1898, Nervo founded, La Revista Moderna; his cousin the renowned artist, Roberto Montenegro produced his first illustrations for the magazine)
